Join us for this fun multi-part class! Learn how to correctly identify and ethically harvest some of the most common WNC wild edibles. We'll forage some as a group and head back to the test kitchen where we'll learn four unique recipes to utilize what we've gathered and enjoy the tastes of Spring!

About the event
Jump into Spring with this exciting class offering from Of The Earth Nourishments. On April 25th, starting at 11am, join us for this Foraging to Table Event. This class will begin with a walk through Weaverville Park. We’ll take a short and accessible trail to find an abundance of wild goodies packed into a small area. Together, we’ll learn how to confidently and safely identify a handful of wild edibles that grow all around us! We’ll enjoy some time outside and engage all of our senses as we get to know some of these plants and harvest as a group. After this, we’ll meet back at the test kitchen (just a 15 minute drive away) and work together to create a few recipes that utilize what we gathered. You’ll leave with a new understanding of plant identification and some fun dishes to make on your own! All of the recipes…
